Delete your account
How to delete your Baby Growly account, what that removes, and what we keep.
Delete it from inside the app
This is the fastest route and the only one that works for guest accounts. In Baby Growly:
1. Open More from the bottom bar.
2. Under Data, tap Delete account.
3. Read what it removes, then tap Delete my account.
It happens immediately — there is no waiting period and no confirmation email. You need an internet connection, because the deletion runs on our servers while you are still signed in.
If you no longer have the app
Email babygrowly.support@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, with Delete my account as the subject. We delete the account and reply to confirm within 30 days, and usually within a few days.
We ask you to write from the signed-up address because that is the only thing that ties a request to an account — we have no other way to tell whose records they are. If you cannot use that address any more, say so in the email and tell us roughly when you created the account and your baby's first name, and we will work it out with you.
Guest accounts cannot be deleted by email. If you used Baby Growly without signing up, there is no email or password attached to your data, so nothing we hold could match your request to it. Use More → Data → Delete account in the app instead, while it is still installed.
What we delete
When you delete your account, we remove:
• your account and sign-in details
• your baby's profile, including birth details
• every feed, sleep, nappy, pumping session and measurement you logged
• your reminders and any AI insights generated for you
• any pending invites you created
• your copy of the data on the phone you delete from
These are removed outright, not marked as deleted and kept. If you shared a baby's log with a partner, a grandparent or a nanny, and you were the one who set it up, their access ends at the same moment and their copy is deleted too.
What we keep
Entries you logged in someone else's household. If you were invited into another family's log and added entries there, those entries stay in that family's timeline. They are that household's records rather than yours, and deleting them would erase part of their history. They stop being attached to your name.
Backups, briefly. Our database provider keeps encrypted backups of the whole database on a rolling schedule, so a deleted record can persist in a backup until that backup is overwritten. Those backups exist to recover from a failure of the service and are never used to restore an individual account.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
You can remove an individual entry, a reminder, or a whole baby profile from inside the app at any time, and it disappears from every phone the log is shared with. Those removals are not the same as the deletion described above: we keep a record that the entry existed so that a phone that has been offline cannot bring it back the next time it syncs. If you want your data actually erased from our servers, delete your account.
